Limitation of Liability While we strive for 100% website uptime and accuracy, Shumba Guru is not liable for any temporary technical issues or inaccuracies. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.
Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
Nature of Services & Scope of Practice Shumba Guru provides spiritual life coaching. This is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice.
Our sessions are designed for personal development and self-discovery.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, you agree to seek help from a licensed medical professional or the NHS.
We do not guarantee specific “outcomes,” as results depend on your personal commitment and application of the coaching.
Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period) Under UK law, you have a 14-day right to cancel your booking from the date of purchase. However, by booking a session to take place within this 14-day window, you expressly request the service to begin and acknowledge that your right to a full refund may be limited if you cancel after the coaching work has commenced.
Confidentiality What you share in our sessions remains private. We will never share your personal story or data with third parties without your permission, unless required by law (e.g., if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others).
Technical Issues If a session is interrupted by a technical failure (internet outage, software crash) on either side, we will reschedule the remaining time at no extra cost. No refunds are issued for technical disruptions.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
More than 24 hours notice: You may reschedule your session at no extra cost.
Less than 24 hours notice: The session fee is forfeited. Rescheduling will be at the sole discretion of Shumba Guru and may require a new booking fee.
No-Shows: If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session is considered a “no-show” and is non-refundable.
Refund Policy
Unused Sessions: Refunds for unused sessions requested within the statutory 14-day window will be honored, minus any transaction fees incurred.
Completed Sessions: Coaching is a “service performed.” Once a session has taken place, no refunds will be issued, as the time and energetic exchange have already occurred.
Discretion: Shumba Guru reserves the right to terminate the coaching relationship at any time if boundaries are breached. In such cases, a pro-rata refund for future unused sessions may be provided.
